Abdullah Ansari, full-stack developer

Who is Abdullah?

Abdullah Ansari — who publishes as Abdullah Code — is a full-stack developer based in Faisalabad, Pakistan. He works across the MERN stack, building the browser-facing interface, the API behind it and the database underneath as a single connected system.

What does Abdullah do?

His work covers the full path a request takes through a web application. On the front end that means React and Next.js interfaces written in TypeScript and styled with Tailwind CSS, with Redux Toolkit holding state that has to survive navigation. On the server it means Node.js and Express REST APIs, MongoDB schema design, authentication, and validation of anything arriving from a client.

Several of the applications in this portfolio need more than request-and-response: payment collection through Stripe, media uploads through Cloudinary, and live updates carried over WebSockets rather than polling.

What has Abdullah built?

The projects in this portfolio fall into a few groups: e-commerce platforms with catalogues, carts and Stripe checkout; a learning management system with course management and media uploads; a real-time social application with messaging and live feed updates; and tools built on the OpenAI API.

Each one is described in detail on the projects page, including the problem it solves, how it was built and which technologies it uses.

Current focus

Current work centres on TypeScript across the whole stack and on Next.js for applications that benefit from server rendering and file-based routing — this portfolio runs on the Next.js App Router. A full breakdown of the technologies and what each is used for is on the skills and technologies page.
